Since efurryone was interested in the move I did on the evil twig the other day, I thought I 'd show you a bit of the technique. It is ever so easy: It consists mostly in DISTRACTING the twig by making a big fuss without actually touching it. At first! Then you activate Twig Control and, well, the rest is history. Please note the big fuss in this video:
Naturally, you have to adapt to efurry twig situation. They come in all sizes and any time!
If you are interested in studying my approach further, you can follow the linkies in this post to see more twig moves... Good luck out there!
Purrs, Siena
P.S.: I am teaching Chilli my technique but so far she hasn't got the essence of it. Sigh!

Again, the same mistake: No fuss but actual touching and nomming. It looks cute but you won't master the evil twig this way. Pleeez, don't try this at home!

Ta da, what a great twig getting you are. You are learning a such a young age the art of this.
Glad you liked the first episode of CCSI. Come back tomorrow for more of the story.
You noticed the German names, that is from our fantastic writer Karl.
Good luck teaching little Chilli the evil twig maneuver. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis
This made us laugh. Chilli will get it in the end, she shows potential, especially with the nomming. This is the trouble with kittens Siena, they are just so keen and excitable, but I'm sure your teaching methods will win in the end!
Lovely post.

You guys are really good with getting that evil twig.
You did a great job with your big fuss! The twig didn't stand a chance!:) We think that if you keep being a good teacher, Repothyr (;) ) will learn quickly:)
Your scratching post looks awesome.
Clearly it's a Forrest thing (we have to be good twig killers!), I make the same head shakin gestures to keep the enemy guessing and then attack.
I'm sure with your sharp skills the LSWSF (littlest sister with short floof)will be coming along in no time!
Thanks for the evil twig lesson...we're gonna go find an evil twig and try out your technique!
Chili definitely has a lot to learn. Or perhaps you should just prohibit Chili from dealing with any twigs at all so you can take care of them properly yourself.
Purrs,
Abby & Stygia
PS. Be sure to stop by our blog tomorrow, you're invited to Abby's 1st birthday party!
I think you are a good tutor! Keep up the great work!
Oh my goodness! You are too cute for words, Siena! We loved how you made a big fuss in the video. We will study your technique in great detail so we can be as good as you!
We have nominated you and Chilli for an award. Stop by our bloggie sometime and pick it up, ok!
~The Creek Cats~
P.S. Our mommy says she just wants to cuddle with you!!
Wowie! You are The Twig Master, Siena! We could practice and practice and never get as good as you!
Thank you for the great tutorial.
Now we can show Olli how to play that too.
Hope mom helps us to find those twigs in the garden too.

Minna will master the evil twig technique soon, just need to find a twig somewhere...
Siena, you are a little wild one! I like your twig technique. Now I will know just what to do if an evil twig gets into my house.
Yes, Maggie is very slender. We try to get her to eat more than everyone else, but she would rather play. We are hoping she will put on a little weight. Her tail is very long and she has very long back legs. She is such a little skinny minnie!!!
It's VERY important to teach the young ones, but they're not interested in listening sometimes... You're doing a great job, Siena!
Your Pals,
Sen-Chan, Tom and Tama-Chan
You have so much control and patience, Sienna, it astounds me. I would be like Chilli for sure. I will need to work on my self control.
Thanks for the tips!

ps~ We have an award for you tomorrow!
It's great seeing you two in action! Chilli has a very good teacher in the twig department.
Sienna, you are just to cute! I think Chilli needs to continue to watch you to learn from the master!
You have great technique! I can learn some things from you and so can Chilli!
