Life as a Gardening Cat is grand. We've joined our furriend Jonesie's Society of Feline Gardeners and today is the first club meeting. Jonesie is a true Master Gardener, so head over and see what she has to say. Siena especially liked today's tips on a fashionable gardening look.
We were already outside in the garden this morning.
We were already outside in the garden this morning.
Apart from tree climbing lessons for Chilli we didn't do much though, it's a cold and grey day. Mom loves to see us zooming around and chasing each other. It's great fun! She wished the picture had come out better, can you see us?Chilli still needs a lot of practise in tree climbing. Can you believe she actually got herself stuck in this position?!
I couldn't even look!Chilli is very brave and at one point she just let her back paws go and clinged to the front trunk. She got down!

Hi there, Jonesie here! You can just grab the badge on the sidebar with my name on it. Instead of my picture we went with my name for the badge.
So Chilli...you sure you don't want to be the Secretary of High Places...or the Secretary of Silliness?
Haha Chilli, you are like my brother Eric. When he climbs a tree, he has trouble getting back down. I zoom right to the top and walk out on all the very small branches to frighten my mum, then I zoom back down again. Maybe I should teleport over to give you tree climbing lessons.

Oh boy! We were scared for Chilli at one point! We're glad she was able to be so brave and get herself down!
that's exactly why i stopped climbing trees a long time ago.
Oh, Chilli, you are so lucky to have your sister watching over you when you get stuck in those trees. Soon you will be a master at it!
MOL! I'm sorry Chilli, but I had to laugh at the position you were stuck in. You are such a silly gal. You were quite brave to get yourself unstuck!
These are great pictures. In the top one it looks like Chilli saw something that startled her. Her tail looks a bit plump.
I also love how Siena is looking at Chilli.
Hope you enjoy your new garden society. It looks wonderful!

Great pictures of poor kitty in tree! Chilli must love to climb.

What an adventure! It's great that Siena is watching out for her little sisfur anyway. Poor Chilli -- well, you learn by your mistakes. At least she got down on her own this time! Well done!
SHe will learn. She figured it out this time so next time it will be easier.
Great snapshots.........we're happy to learn that Chilli got herself down.....she's young and has a lot to learn, huh?
purrrrrrrrsssssssss
Oh Chilli, you and your tree climbing :D. Glad to know you managed to climb down by yourself! Good job, Siena. You're right, you can't always save her otherwise, how is Chilli going to learn?
Beautiful photos!
That was a pawsome tree to climb. Glad you got down safely Chilli. Scylla loves going up things but she doesn't like getting down. ~S,S,C & F
What fun you have in the garden! Chilli, are you auditioning to become one of The Monkeys?
Chili's learning! The first few trips down are always scary and difficult. It takes time! Go Chili!!!!
Hello! :) Very nice pictures!
Siena, you take such good care of Chilli!
Really nice pictures!
Thank you for visiting my blog :-)
Purrs,
Chiti
Yikes, be careful Chilli! It seems climbing trees is more dangerous than I thought! I'll bet climbing trees makes you strong and limber.
Hi Siena,
Oh, I'm so jealous...
I wish I had a garden like yours. I live in an apartment, but I love to look out the window.

You still need the tree climbing instruction video? Maybe we can get photoguy to make it this weekend, if he doesn't have to work again.
Oh Dear! That must be scary stuck in a tree! I haven't been in a tree for a long time!
Wow, Chilli! We can't believe you got way up there! We would love to climb a tree, but we never get the chance. RATS!
So sweet how you cover your eyes with your floofy tail LSIF. Careful LSIHF.
We see both of ya! And dont be worried about tree-climbin. It comes natural ta some but is lerned careful-like by others. Fer ezample, Ayla can climb annythin but I'm strugglin ta lern...

Que jardin mas lindo tienen , nos encantaron las fotografias :D
Chilli, girl! You DO need some climbing lessons don't you? But it looks like it was all fun.
I have been catching up on your posts LSIF. I do miss seeing your beautiful face. You are just the prettiest kitty I know.
Wowww....
you are really a great guard for sure!
My eyes are so flash seeing you are moving on the trees!
Chilli, you almost gave me a heart attack! So wild and free you are. It is great that you have Siena to watch over you!!
Wonderful gardening post!

Hi, we're commenting again to answer your question in your comment.
You can enter one photo per cat, per household. So one of Chilli and Siena is great :)
Ut oh Chilli, someday you will learn!
your pal,
Bruce:)
p.s. sorry to hear that you never heard back about the Cat Lover's book. I know that one of them told me that the response from people wanting the book was too big & they couldn't send books out to everyone, but that still doesn't account for her not replying to your email. I agree, that is just rude.
great pictures! Chilli, we're glad to see you were able to get down by yourself this time, but it still looked difficult, and it looked like even Siena was worried for you!
Goodness, what an adventure out in the garden! We're glad that you were able to get down, Chilli!

Siena está más guapa cada día!!
Tree climbing looks hard. Perhaps Chilli should find a safer hobby?
