Silly on Sunday

Exhibit A
Chilli has a great interest in little paper bags from the baker. She has chewed herself through some of them and even nibbled the bread! This time her head got stuck and she was moving backwards towards the rim of the writing desk.
Look how much her silky and slender butt reaches over the table when she got it off. That was close!
Exhibit B
I have to admit that I did something silly too. I have climbed the curtain rail before, but looking back it could be that I was a bit more kitten-shaped then. This time, when I reached the far end I found that I couldn't turn around to get back. I even slipped and clung - not very elegantly - to the curtain. Mom rushed into the kitchen and came back with one of the bar stools to rescue me. When I jumped on there mom too realised that I wasn't that little kitten anymore and the stool got swaying. That frightened me so I jumped back on the curtain rail. For the second try mom assumed a more stable pawsition and I got down. She's my purrsonal elevator!

Have you noticed how festive our bloggie looks? Thank you to Zoolatry for the header!
On a totally different note we wanted to tell efurryone that Tama-Chan and her four fabulous kittens are doing fine. She had to get them via an ouchy Caesarian and was so exhausted the first looooong couple of hours. She is nursing and loving them now like the best momma cat. Concats to Tama-Chan! Head over to their bloggie for more pictures.
Purrs,
Siena Snowfox

That curtain rail is a perfect spot. And with your mom getting you down, you don't have to worry about that tricky part of climbing: the descend.

Whoa, I can't believe you got up there, either, Chilli. I'm so not showing your post to my own fur crew. Nicki, especially, might get ideas.

BTW, I'll bet your mom found the whole bag-stuck-on-head episode quite entertaining. :-D

Congrats to Tama-Chan and her new babies!

Siena, I haven't climbed the curtain rail in a long time. I'm too old now and am not so limber as I used to be. Chilli looks so funny with that bag on her head.

You both got yourselves in interesting predicaments. Don't climb on the curtain rod when your Mom isn't at home!

We are also so happy about Tama-Chan's kittens and the fact that she has now bonded with them and is caring for them. It will be fun to watch them changing every day from their blog.

It is a very silly Sunday! You two are real characters. Chilli is the clown and Siena is the acroCAT!

Siena, you must be careful dear -- you could really hurt yourself.

Chilli, too, if you had back up any further!

Aw, Tama-Chan and her kittens have really bonded now. I'm glad she's feeling better after her C-section.

Sorry Siena but we had to laugh at you hanging onto the curtain rail. We laughed at Chilli too.

Okay, the evidence is in, you are convicted of being ornery and totally spoiled...both of which I am guilty of too!!!

Chilli, we're glad you got the bag off your head before your butt fell off the desk! And Siena, we're glad your mom was there to rescue you from that curtain rod. You are quite the daredevil.

We're glad that Tama-Chan and her kittens are doing well!

Ok that curtian rail picture made me nervous - I am glad you got down ok. And for the bag nibbling, well, I am not sure on that. We have a kitty who likes to eat paper (which I try to stop as much as I can) but if it is just that bag then my thinking is that it must taste really good from the stuff in it!

That looks like a pretty far drop from up there. I do like your festive header.

You look amazing on that curtain rail! And Chilli looks so silly with his paper bag hat on. Keep using your mom as a personal elevator. She loves it, I'm sure.

Wow, that curtain rod is high up. Mum is glad I am not a climber, as that would be a bit scairty for her.

Oh my gosh! Chilli is like Chester with bags and searching for crumbs of human food it seems.
Sienna, how in the world did you get up on that curtain rod? You are a trapeze cat!
And we have missed so much! Tama Chan and her kittens are adorable!

That curtain rod looks awfully high. How did you get up there?

Katie said...

That sounds exciting and scary too - how on earth did you get up to the curtin top? And nearly falling backwards off the table isn't fun - neither is getting your head stuck in a bag. You guys certainly get yourselves in sticky situations!

Although she doesn't jump on curtain rods, my momma has the same problems with not realizing her shape has changed! Fiona loves to chew on plastic begs and she also loves to jump high. ~James
