The best presents

We learned a tough lesson this Christmas: The best presents are the ones you'd want to keep yourself. Some of you asked where I was when Siena had her little Snowfox in the Snow adventure the other day.
Well, here's proof I ventured outside too. Mom couldn't believe her eyes when I rolled around in the snow. See the snow on my back? Then, after about four whole minutes of being outside, I started to shake out every paw and to hunker down right on the spot.
I was very reliefed when mom called me inside, BECAUSE...... I'd much rather sit on this luxurious sheep skin they got for the other type of human's sister. I can't pawsibly describe the comfyness, you'd have to experience it for yourself. Siena loved it too, especially because she had a sheep skin in the kitty bed she was born in. Unfortunately, we won't get one for ourself because I have a reputation of ripping out pieces of fur from those skins. Mom liked to show this picture every time I asked her to keep it for us.Mom, really, I've changed! I was still a kitten back then! Hehehehehe. Maybe she'll get out the little piece again to give it a try.
Stay warm and comfy in the New Year efurryone.

That rug looks like perfection! How could you give it up?!

Playing in the snow is so much fun. And even more if you can come back inside and enjoy the warmth of a sheep skin. We definitely must have one (and so must you).

You are so brave for going out in the snow! We don't blame you for rather spending your time on the sheep skin rug!!! Looks so warm and cozy!

Ooh, I'd rather be warm and cosy in sheepskin too, than be out in the snow and cold.

Wow! You rolled in the snow?! Very brave - but it must have helped to know a sheep skin was waiting inside :-) You look so sweet on it.

Oh Chillimuss Prettypuss...maybe it's worth going to Sheepskin Eaters Annonymous to get past your habits so you and Siena can sleep on that all the time. Ok, I'm selfish, I want to see pictures of you sleeping on it.

Chilli, I don't mind the snow but it is bitter cold. Some days I don't even go out. And you're right, moms can be very repetitive when saying no! ~James

That sheepskin looks wonderfully cosy. I bet the sister really liked her present. Try to be very good when Mom gets out the small piece, then maybe next Christmas..........

Thanks for your comment about my toesies. It is true, I cannot climb and don't have any cat trees. However my Mom did know a declawed cat who was able to climb trees, and even get on the roof of their house. She doesn't know how he did it - must have had a good grip and used his back feet more.

Hi again. Thanks for telling us about the "Neko Chigura"! We looked them up and they are great (and expensive!). Now o find someone who could actually get one to us from Japan, or some way...

Wow, a sheepskin looks very luxurious and comfy. I also think you deserve another chance!

Chilli, you were out in the snow for four whole minutes? Wow! I'm impressed! You look so comfy and beautiful in that rug! I'm going to chime in with the others and say that I also think you deserve a second chance. I would love to have one for myself. I would take my meals there and never leave.

You are very brave to roll in the snow! We agree the sheep skin would be a better place to cuddle up and get warm.

Wow it looks cold outside. I think you might need to nag your mum into getting you a new sheepskin, as you both look very comfortable.

I can't believe you rolled around in the snow either! You know you can enjoy that sheep's skin even without the rolling!

I didn't know how to respond to your question any other way then to post here. The story of how I'm toothless will be told in a coming-up chapter. I've enjoyed your blog very much. Are you on Twitter? If you are, look me up.

The sheepskin looks way more inviting than the snow! We think you should get your own again!

That was very brave of you to roll in the snow.
I have to confess. We have a vishus deerskin for a bed, and I like to rip and chew big chunks of the fur out of it.

That snow looks mighty cold and the sheepskin much nicer. Tell your Mom you must have one for your birthday -- I feel sure you wouldn't rip one up now that you are older!

Happy New Year! We also think you are quite brave for going out in the snow - our humans complain about it so much that we know it must be difficult!

And we are SURE that you wouldn't chew a sheepskin now that you are grown up...maybe?
