Challenges part II

Being actually let out in the garden is one challenge, having to put up with loafy introoder tabbies is another. We were gardening with mom yesterday and Chilli and me checked the other world. Suddenly mom heard terrible cat screams and the sound of a wild chase. Chilli came flying back over the wall with a gigantic puffed tail and ran inside. Mom climbed over the wall and sure enough, there was Dado, the stinky introoder. I had him right under his secret entry to the shed, which he took up as his regular day-time residence for a while already. But it's not his shed, it's mine! Okay, it's Frida and Lilly's shed - but not at all his!I was seriously mad at him and growled and yelled. It's hard to tell with my floofy furs, but I was very puffed.
After a while Chilli's curiousity won over her fear and she came back.
Look at her cute half puffed tail. And the German Shepherd pose.
After some demonstrative fun in front of the introoder we went inside. It's far nicer to enjoy some treats and good snuggles than to battle for a silly tool shed after all.

That Dado is such a nuisance! He should not be impinging on your territory at all. What a cheek!

Whew, that was quite the adventure! Our human has a post about Nicki's poofed-up tail for tomorrow; must be some sort of cosmic synchronicity. :-)

We're glad you both are safe, no real cat fights!

I really dislike intruders in my area! You were smart to show off that it is your turf!

That looks scary! But you two are so brave to stand your ground and poof up.

The nerve of that cat!

Maybe he has a crush on you girls and that's why he keeps spying on you?!

Love the poofed tail, but not the reason for it grrrr >.<

Siena, you tell Dado! You're a very good guard cat. We need to take lessons from you in that!

Introoders are bad news. They can't get in our garden, but one comes and poops outside of our fence. We love the half poof tail.

We have two intruders: one is our Daddy, we all like him. The other we don't like. And Dushi chased him out of our garden (for the first time) the other day.

One can hardly tolerate interlopers into one's space -- the nerve! Tiger likes nothing better than to scream and puff up at introoders & sometimes they even have the audacity to peek in our windows!

Get that introoder, Siena! Chilli looks amazing when all puffy.

That was a little bit too much excitement over a tool shed! We liked your and Chilli's poofiness though! Glad you both were okay.

Intooders are NORTY! We think yoo are very brave telling the introoder who's boss!

You clearly told him who's boss in your garden. It may not have shown in your fur, but we can tell from the look in your eyes that you were really mad at Dado.

Chilli's half puffed is so cute :-)

we think the 'demonstrative fun' spproach was a great move. Darcy employs this method with me (Mrs H) infront of his brother sometimes - bit mean. H

Hi guys!! We're sort of neighbors..just over the border to your east...

We know just what you are talking about with those dang introoders...once we had one and I went to tell him to GET OUT OF MY GARDEN and he jumped on me so I bit him in the beeehind and guess what, I left my LEFT FANG in his bottom!! hahahahaha!! (ok, so now I only have one top fang, but it was sooo worth it!!). You go kick introoder butt and if you need backup, well, you better call Tiny, my sisfur because she is one tough cookie!! (I'm a marshmellow).

We just found your blog and will visit you now more often. Come visit us if you want at WeezDaBadCats.blogspot.com

See you soon!!
