Interview with a Vampire

Spot the double fangs when I yawn!

Be aware, Siena! Muahahahahahaha...

Mom here:
The double fangs are seemingly nature's way of ensuring that the cat doesn't happen to be without fangs at all. It's better to have four than none... ; ) In the vast majority the kitten teeth fall out after a short time, but there are cases where they held on for up to three months. I will have to watch if there isn't an inflamation, though. Of course, I sneaked up on Chilli while she was sleeping and took a photo.

That is one very (vampy?) happy cat - extra teeth and all.

From Harley:
Dear Siena,
Thank you for your kind words. I was scairt you would not like me anymore when you saw I have teh ringworm. I promise it is not worms, it is a fungus. Even though I guess that is not much better.

A cat with extra toesies is called a polydactal. What do you call a cat with double fangs? You are indeed very special, Chilli! Our Mom never heard of that before.

P.S. Anytime you want to come over and play our spide computer game you are more than welcome.

That's fascinating!

When our vet said that she had left one tiny tooth in behind my canines (yes, I know about the tooth removal now), she told my mom it's one most cats don't have anyway. Maybe I had a second fang but it never grew long. ?

This is Elaine, Luxie's mom. :)

Ever since we found out about his heart condition, that's sort of taken precedence over the teeth. I think his vet plans to leave that one in, probably for sure now since she wouldn't want to anaesthetize (sp?) him.

I had double fangs for a while, but the baby ones fell out (and Mom kept one...ew).

Ooops that last message was Indy. Zoe didn't have double fangs.

When we were both getting our adult teeth, we both had double full sets and mum used to call us Jaws1 and Jaws2. We used to bite our toy box and mum kept finding baby teeth on the floor by it.

Interview with a vampire, you're so funny!

I know I was supposed to be looking for teeth but I was really enjoying the Petting Training Video. I made sure Mom paid attention.
