uh oh! Is that Meowmy's knee? or elbow? looks like the little crazy cat claw went in, Meowmy pulled away...and delicate hooman skin got torn! That's not good! (and could get infected...although the bleeding helps) Chilli, gotta learn to keep your claws to yourself, girlfriend! And i bet you're about to be bundled up in a towel and have your toenails trimmed!
Uh oh, that's not good! Besides being bitten by Georgia fairly regularly, the worst injury Mom has gotten from us recently was when all three of us were chasing each other very fast, using our claws to dig into the carpet for traction, and we all ran over her bare foot. There's still a scar from that one (Dad thought it was pretty funny though.)
Tasha used to do that a LOT when she was a kitten - I know it hurts! We trained her by saying "Ouch" really loud - I don't think she believed she could hurt us because we were so big. Every once in a while I still get scratched by one of the cats though - almost always an accident...
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! We definitely see the nail clippers coming out......sorry, Chilli. Happens to the best of us! Maggie May gets mom every now and then.
(HISS)We are sorry you hurted your Mommy. Our Mommy hisses at us when we do something like that, she sounds just like an angry cat too. She said that is how other cats let you know you are doing something wrong, so she thought we would understand that. It must work as she hasn't gotten hurted in a long time. We also grew up, so we guesses that helps. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis
Uh oh. Sometimes we forget that the humans don't have furs for protection, too. It's an easy mistake to make! When the fosters are new, they tear mum to shreds. Especially when she has to give them a bath!
Uh Oh! Now Chilli there is "The Bitey on Someone (which can include claws)" and then there is ripping the crap into your Mom. One of those is frowned upon and should be avoided. Ask LSIF to tell you which one!
I am a Norwegian Forest Cat born April 2008. I live in an apartment in the city with my mom and my little sisfur Chilli, who came to live with us in November 2008. Feel free to follow our adventures as we grow up. Hearty purrs, Siena

Uh-oh. I see a claw trim in someone's future!

Hope you're OK!
Oh, and I'm not going to even let the cats see that photo of Part II - I don't want them to get any ideas :)!
Oh nosssss! Hope it's not too hurty. The consolation is that this happens less when the kitty is older. Please note that I say 'less'!

Now, NOW Chilli!!!! The fact that Christmas is over doesn't mean that you can be a bad girl! Santa keeps tabs on kitties all year, you know!

Good work Sienna and Chilli! Our Mom has scars all over her skins from our "accidental" scratchings.
Yikes Chilli!! You must have daggers for claws!!
I have quite the hooks myself and the PM is planning on clipping them but for now she is chicken!
