This is what we had to do:
Open a document or file folder, click on the fifth folder and then the fifth photo. Post the photo and describe it. Then tag 5 other bloggers.
Our human was shoveling giga bites of pictures forth and back from internal to external drives this weekend and so a photo of...
... Mexico-City from an airplane happened to be the fifth picture in the fifth folder. It was taken at the 2nd of January 2008 and mom had already stayed in Mexico since August 07. The other type of human came to visit her for Christmas and they did some traveling. Mom became all nostalgic so I allowed her to post some more random pictures of Mexico.I hope you liked them! She has zillions and zillions of pictures from Mexico! I asked mom to include a kitty picture to make it less boring. The kitty was living at a lovely beach and hang out with the humans. She has the most pawsome view from the balcony whenever she wants.
Needless to say that Mexico was before my time. Mom almost adopted a little cat there though. She found these apparently abandoned kitten in an empty taco stand. They were miserably crying, their fur was in very bad condition and the lovely floofy white one mom fell in love with was very thin. The little sister was better off. For some days she brought them food and water and never saw a trace of the mother. Then, one day, they were gone. Let's all hope that there was a caring mother who, annoyed by the human intervention, found a better place for her little litter. Back in Germany mom decided that is was time to get a cat and started searching for a little Norwegian Forest Cat. Why exactly that breed is a story for another day...
We tag Cliff and Olivia, Cory et alii, Goldie and 'his' girls, the Island Cats and Tom and Tama-Chan to play along.
Have a good start into the week efurryone!

That was a long time im Mexico! She has great pictures.
Those are some lovely photos from Mexico! We can't wait to hear more of the story of how your Mom got to search for you!
Beautiful pictures! except for the marlin being clubbed on the head...Meowmy even gets upset about fish being killed (she's such a softie). We hope those baby kittens were all taken by their mom to a safe place. And we are interested to hear how the search for a kitten lead to beautiful you, Siena!
Wow! What a nice trip. At any rate, you know she send one of those to Find Chey Friday and then you would know where I am!
Really nice photos. We hope the baby kittens were all right too - I get sad when I see things like that.
Looking forward to reading your story, Siena.
