How not to - part II

Some things never change. Here's me peeping through the curtains to check for escape oportunities. Doesn't look too good. I can happily report that the other day I managed to escape through the bathroom window - mom had left the upper one open after taking a shower. Yay! The bad thing is that I'm always so intrigued when mom calls me with her 'special Siena calling voice' - it helps to rustle with a treat package too - that I come. That's when my master escaping plan fails...
Anyway, here's part II to the official "How not to" guide to escapism. You will notice that first it went a bit wrong. Then it went all terribly wrong. And then even Chilli showed up to see how it all went wrong!

I guess I have to keep on trying.

Siena, your smart climbing. Some of us here would like to escape! But not very far... just out to the grass in the back yard.

Tricky, that, Siena. Very tricky!

We're glad that your mom's voice is more appealing than the wild outdoors!

Siena, we thinks you will master it one day.

Here the windows have screens on them to keep the mosquitoes and other bothersome insects out so you wouldn't even have the chance. When Mommy was in Sandy Eggo the windows didn't have screens, she said it took her awhile to get used to that. But there was a tree right outside their hotel room window (they were high up) and a bird would come to visit sometimes. Mommy said that the first thing she thought was Scylla would be after him like a flash and get hurt falling to the parking lot below the tree. ~S,S,C & F

Hello Chilli and Siena!
What a mess!!!LOL
Brave Siena!
I don't know the reason, but my mommy is always worried about windows as well! Our apartment stays at 3rd floor, maybe it is one of the reasons she don't let me stay close the windows!
Sometimes I have beautiful dreams with a "garden"like yours!Lucky Siena, Lucky Chilli!

You are a brave cat to do that kind of jumping...did Chilli come and swat you on the butt after that latest attempt?

Bless your heart, Siena! We can tell you gave it your best effort!

"A" for effort, Siena!

We have window screens here so the cats can't get out and the bugs can't get in. We have to have open windows in the summer because it gets very hot in the house. (Tasha says window screens make good scratching posts - we need to replace almost all of ours now!)

We are very lucky, because we do get to go Outside when Mom is home. We also fall for the special voice and treat trick. ::sigh::

What a nice try. It's good to know that you come back eagerly when there's a chance of treats.

Don't you get to go in the garden? You are a scamp for trying to escape!

Siena you are very smart! I can't believe what you did.

Maybe you're escaping just so you can get treats?

Haha, We just posted a video today of Samson trying to escape too! Siena, you're very agile and can jump really high!

Mommy wants to know if you like your new water fountain as much as Samson likes his

It's just so embarrassing to fall, isn't it? Then when someone shows up at the very scene you just have to leave. We have screens here too, so no kitty escapism is possible by that route. Tiger, however, is an accomplished escape artist by way of the doors, but I won't let him send you any pointers. The great outdoors isn't always what it is cracked up to be!

Oh Siena. Please be careful. You sure do have great jumping abilities, but it's so much safer inside.
