Spring is here, we can finally see, smell and feel it. Today we spent hours in the garden. The most certain sign for Spring: Siena ate three bees! Mom just rolled her eyes in dispair, but what does she know?
Siena stalking bees by the crocus blooms.Chilli is very proud because she got an honourable mention in the St. Patrick's Day contest for her entry. It's an older picture with the other type of human who, apart from Chilli's eyes, provides the green here.
This is what Brian said about it: "Okay, this one still has my whiskers grinning up! This is Chilli from Cat With A Garden. I laughed so hard I almost coughed up my kibble! Thanks for such a fun entry!" Such nice words. We had much fun, thank you to the organisers!

Lord! them is some hairy legs! lol... did Siena at least spit the stingers out?
Siena sweetie...don't eat the bees. They could put a sting on you right in your mouf! And concats to Chilli for her green entry and award!
We're sorry but those furry legs scare us a little, LOL! Siena, you eat bees?! Don't they sting you? Fiona likes to eat flies and moths. ~James
Wow, you have very exotic tastes, Siena!!!!!!!!
MOL.....concats, Chilli, on getting honorable mention.

Siena, you look so pretty in that warm Spring sunlight next to those pretty yellow crocus'...it is like some sort of dream to see you there...an angel!! Did you REALLY eat 3 bees? Didn't it hurt to swallow them? I stay away from them...once I stepped on one and I will never forget the pain (and embarassment of having a paddle paw) I suffered...I leave the bees and wasps alone...you are really brave to EAT them...wow. Wow. Wow. Please be careful!!! xxxxLautrec (and Tiny sends her greetings to you both) P.S. Congrats on the HonMent for St. Paddy's...great picture Chilli...chillin' out with chilli-green chilli-feet!!
That is a silly green photo.
And, eating bees ... Yuck !!!
I have watched my boys attempting to catch bees - they seem to have forgotten what happened last year - a stung paw by Darcy and a wasp sting on the eye lid for Bing! Your post was lovely and made me feel Spring is upon us. H, Darcy and Bingley
We have had lovely spring weather here too, and have been enjoying our run. But it's supposed to start raining from tomorrow.
We agree that that's a great photo, Chilli!
Siena is quite the bee keeper, we're impressed she ate them without getting stung!...That was a fun entry for Chilli, congratulations on the award=those hairy legs cracked us up!!hehe...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Oh congrats on the honorable mention - we love the picture. We hope spring really is here (they used the dreaded snow word in the forecast for Sunday). And be careful about the bees -we don't want them stinging anyone!!
Congrats on the Award. We laffed so hard when we first saw it at Brian's...
Um, we would be afraid ta eat a bee. We been warned they sting...
We snorted too! Your human is almost as furry as you!
Concats on the honourable mention. All entries were interesting.
Good to see the weather turning for the better. Were the bees yummy? You must be careful and not get stung, LSIF!
Thanks for pawticipating! We enjoyed cohosting it!
Enjoy the spring! We sure are!
I'm not sure who's furrier - Chilli or the bean!
We have never eaten bees because mum said they will sting us. Once I ate a wasp and my mouth and tongue swelled up and I had to go to the vet.
Concats on your honourable mention Chili. That is a fun photo.
Flynn
Woah, BEES! You ATE bees? You must be the toughest cat we know. We pat the bees but would NEVER try to EAT one.
As for that photo of Chilli....um, do you have a foot fetish? *giggle*
Those crocuses are such a great sign of Spring.
Ha ha ha with those furry legs and green socks!
Chilli's entry made our whiskers grin too. We love the green socks. Siena, please be careful eating bees, we don't think that is a good idea as they might sting. Mommy's arm gets all puffy when they sting her, we don't want you to get puffy like she does. ~AFSS
Siena needs a serious talk about the birds and the bees. That cats hunt for birds, not for bees.
We had hours of garden fun too with Photoguy reading in the garden again. Just like old times.
Siena! You ate 3 bees??!? Amazing! Our mom won't let us get near bees 'cuz she's afraid they will sting us!!
And Chilli...we loved your picture with the human's green socks!
Yay for spring! Glad you were able to enjoy your garden. :)
Siena ... you ate ... three bees? You are brave AND obviously a skilled hunter!
Concatulations to Chilli for her well-deserved award!
Oh Siena, be careful eating bees! They can be scary.
Funny photo of Chilli with the hairy legs! Concats on your honorable mention!
Oh, Chillimus, we loved your entry with your daddy's green feets! And your sister is very silly for eating the bees. OUCH!
Siena, you need to be very careful! Do bees taste good?? Maybe you can give us a lesson on how to catch them. Grete tries but she can't do it very well.
Chilli...it's hard to tell who is furrier!!! hahahaha!
Yes, bees are delicious spring fare, right up with peas and asparagus!
Congrats for your St. Pat's pic win!
We know that bees look yummy, but we've never had any!
Great picture of sweet little Chilli being green!

Congrats on your photo win. It made me smile.
Spring is here too - finally! We wanted to tell you that the first flower that bloomed were the crocus you sent us - they are beautiful! We posted some photos on our blog.
And we wonder if bees taste good or something? Sometimes they get in our house and we try to eat them too.
P.S. We love the photo with the green socks!
Just wanted to let you know we have an award for the two of you on our blog.
Paddy
Are bees a crunchy good treat? We haven't had any (that we know of). Enjoy your sunny days in the garden!
Charlemagne and Tamar
I'm giving you ladies an award tomorrow!
Wow, eating bees requires skill and daring, Siena. We hope you don't get stung...we've gotten bitten by bugs we've tried to put the bitey on and it's not nice. Chilli, that's a hilarious picture of you with the other kind of human...he certain has lots of fur...and nice feet to cuddle up against.
Congratulations on the honourable mention - that photo is great!
Siena, we're impressed you tackle bees and even eat them :-)
