Dear furriends,
I feel a bit bad that I'm so much drawn to pollinating insects and that I ate some the other day.
Mom just found out that they weren't bees, but some kind of fuzzy little bumblebees.

Siena, you are far too beautiful to get in trouble.
The cherry blossom is very pretty but not as pretty as you, LSIF!
Were the bumblebees tasty?
I'm always chasing bees too ~ and then I get told off. I gotted stinged TWICE last year (:said with pride:)!

They do have a stingy part Siena, I am a bit worried. The wee lad hear got stung last year when he went frolicking through the clover and it wasn't pretty.
Be careful garden hunter!

"Cute little orange bum" - ha, ha! You're cute for saying that, Siena.
Your cherry blossom looks very pretty. A little early for ours still.
Look at those beautiful blossoms! Maya used to like to chase bees when we would go walking on the leash.
You MUST be careful, Siena. We don't want you getting stung!
Yesterday, #1 photographed a big bumble bee in our garden (with her new wonderful zoom!!!).
Oh my gosh - I so happy you didn't get stung Siena. Dat would have been a big ouchie and you would have been rushed to the VET!
Siena, we don't know how you can stand to have something buzzing around in your mouth. It was very funny last year when Nicki tried the same thing. MOL!
Lovely cherry tree blossoms!
Oh dear, you must be very careful! Those things could sting you inside your mouth.
Didn't they sting your mouth? I can't imagine having one of those buzzing in my mouth. Be careful... you may want to find other prey. You look pretty in the garden tho'!
*nosetaps*
Bumble bees are yummy...and they make that popping noise in your mouth when you bite them. We think your Mom just hasn't tried one yet!
chasing bees is only fun until you catch one.
Mom says that Jonesie shouldn't
catch bees...just enjoy their buzzing because they they do such good things for the garden...so watch, chase, play...but don't eat! Maybe your mom will give you a yummy treat in exchange for not eating them?
Siena, I suppose those bumbles may taste sweet too. We love your photos today.
Those cherry blossoms are very pretty, Siena, but you are simply gorgeous!!...Maybe you could stalk the bumblebees and not eat them?...We didn't think so...MOL...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Beautiful blossoms, and an even more beautiful Siena! :)
Please be careful stalking those bees ... we can't bear the thought of you getting stung!
Yep, you don't want an ouch from one of those!
They are lovely and all thanks to those little bees that you keep eating. Watch out--they may sting your belleh.
It must be so hard to resist those bumbles! I hope you don't get stung. Yes, his orange bum is cute. :)
Your Japenese blossoms are so pretty!
I know!
I love to chase 'em too!
We just finished our furst walk and saw lots of bizzybuzzbuzzes around some of the cherry trees!

Gee Siena, it seems you have a bee in your bonnet!

Siena
They don't sting you?
I can see the fun in chasing them, though. Guess what? We had one in the house day before yesterday. It was buzzing all mad trying to get outside through the glass window.Mr.Jinx was all over the bee, but Momma called Daddy and made him take it away...POOOOOOOOOOOOOieeee!

Siena we know they are tasty but you have to let them go - they help the flowers! And if they have stingers you could get hurt, which would be awful. We suggest finding non-helping, non-stinging tasty bugs to eat!
We understand your concern with the faith of the bumblebees.
We think a single bug won't matter, as long as you comply with the EU Guidance on Habitats Directive, especially Articles 12 and 16 concerning the protection of animal species.
I would think you would need to watch what you eat.
Erm, stalk but don't swallow???
We've been twiddling with this Followers thing and have added you. Hehehe, now we can see when you blog...
Anny insects that arent bees or wasps are good ta eat. Well, meebe not stinkbugs either.
Yum!
Ayla
Siena, his bum is not as furry as yous!
What a beautiful cherry blossom! In Poland it is still too cold :(
Siena your mum takes great portraits of you! (See first and last pics)
I know she gets good results as she has a great model!!
We never get to eat bees either! It's not fair.
P.S. Please tell your mom that the T. turkestanica are blooming. They are so beautiful! She says she thinks the bulbs from Germany are much better than the bulbs you can get here - probably because they are fresher. Every single one of both the tulips and the croci came up.
Looks like our flowers! But we did not get to go outside and try to catch bees like you did.

You silly garden kitty ...
Siena, it is hard to resist those flying bees they look like toys to me and that is a challenge!
Happy Easter bonkbonk
You look beautiful with the blossom.
As long as you don't get stung.
There are lots of other insects that are fun to catchy and eat, like flies. I really like them. But I also love moths. ~Fiona
Bees might sting your insides, Sienna -- better stick to ladybugs and other non-stinging insects! Tiger was licking ants the other day, but he didn't tell me if he liked them or not. Your cherry blossoms are lovely! We are in full spring pollen here -- I will take some pictures and post. The red oaks produce this really thick green pollen and strands that fall and get on everything. It is very dramatic! It is always over by mid April and then time to pick it up. We have been spending so much time at the barn with the horse, I have not done much in my garden and last year my plans went astray when I realized I had to absolutely focus on my dissertation! I have some plans that are in the works, so we'll see how much I accomplish.....I'm trying to declutter my house as well....YOU saw the evidence of my cluttering ways last fall!
Happy Easter dear friends!
Wonderful pictures with a real feeling of spring. We chase bumblebees too - they are sooo tempting :-)
