Thursday in the garden

Dear furriends,
it's a grey, drizzly and a bit sad day in our garden today. We were suspecting it for longer, but today we got certainty: Our Fischies have died during the Winter. We hope that they peacefully died in their sleep. It's such a shame, they were cool Fischies and we loved to watch them, cool off our paws in their tank and even have a sip when the weather was hot. Rest in peace, sweet Fischies.
Some of you asked how I got the ouchie on my nose. Well, mom doesn't really know and I'm not telling. The scratch just appeared from one moment to the other. One probable option is that my crazy little stalker sisfur Chilli made me jump and crash into the roses, but she's not telling either. Or our neigbour cat Frida got me when I was nosing around in their shed. Basically, it's the price you pay for being a paws-on Gardening Cat! Thank you for all the purrs and the comforting words about the fur growing back. That would be nice. Finishing, we wanted to share two beautiful pictures of our woofie furriends Sissy and Skylar from Becky's Barnyard. Their mom took them a while ago and our mom loves them so much she asked if we could repost them. This is Sissy, she came to live at Becky's place not long ago.
And that's Skylar - love the markings! Don't the daffs look cheerful?
Purrs,
Siena Snowfox

Aww that look of surprise is priceless!. Glad the owie is healing..

Maybe Siena and Jonesie can hang out together and heal...at a kitty indoor garden spa. They must exist, right?

We love the wonderful woofies in the daffodils. So cheerful and carefree!

Being a paws on garden cat is worth the bumps and scrapes you get along the way (according to Jonesie). I wouldn't know....sigh.

We LOVE that second photo; it's absolutely priceless. :-D

We're sorry your fishies have died and hope you will have more.

We think your fur will grow back; just give it time to heal. We're sending lots of purrs and healing Light!

And what lovely photos of the woofies! Gorgeous, with all those daffodils. :-)

Oh we are so sorry your fishies didn't make it through the winter. We hope you are able to have more.

We think that even with your owie on your nose you still look beautiful - and we know the fur will grow back very soon.

And the woofies are very cute - those are very good pictures!!

Those are great pix of your woofie friends running through the daffodils! How springlike!

And that picture of Chilli wrapped around the scratching post is hysterical!

Poor Siena and your little nosie! I'm sure it will heal, but it will take some time before it's perfectly normal again. You just have to be patient. Somehow it doesn't look like a scratch from a kitty, more like she smashed into something nose first.

We're so sorry about your fishies! They are a lot of fun to play with.

Even if your furs don't grow back on your nose, you're still the prettiest girl we know!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that picture of you looking crazy and holding on to your scratching tree!! You are soooo funny!!! I'm so sorry about your fish friends...we had the same happen to us, too. Each of our 20 fish had a name and we had some of them over 10 years and they were 18 years old. Mom's favourite fish, a sturgeon called Earl Gray, also died and Mom cried. We are sad, too, but not as sad as Mom and Dad. Just to say that we understand your loss and sympathise with you. R.I.P. fishies. Mom has a scratch on her nose, but we know where it came from...from Ficelle, our furrend in Geneva where Mom was visiting. Ficelle didn't think our Mom deserved her loving, but I think Ficelle deserves a close look at my right hook..if you know what I mean!! Purrs, Lautrec and Tiny

sorry to hear about your fishies! Meowmy has to ask her friend Gloria if her outdoors fishies made it this year or not, since we had a hard winter, too. Siena, it sure looks like you ran into the claw of another kitty...we're sure it will heal all well soon!
