Timing on Tuesday

Hi efurryone!
Did you have a good Easter?
Ours was a bit so so, because I hurt my nosie on Friday. It's a weird tradition at our house that always on festive days one of us gets sick or hurts herself. Mom says our timing is "great"! Before the incident we had the best time outside though: The sun was shining,
we zoomed around, climbed a tree together, I stalked insects,
Chillimus stalked...
... and chased me...
... and then this. Although I told mom I was okay she took me to the vet the next day, just to make sure. Now she worries about the fur not growing back! I hope mom sets up a first aid kit asap, because she didn't have anything when it happened, which is very bad. For now we got at least a good antiseptic spray without alcohol, so that's a start. Do you have a first aid kit and what's in it?
Purrs,
Siena Snowfox

Dear Siena, your poor nosie! It does look like you were haveing lovely fun with Chilli before you hurt your nose.

My folks keep hydrogen peroxide and sterile cotton balls around in case of kitty hurts. The peroxide is not toxic to us if we lick it a bit, which of course kitties are inclined to do with hurts.

Sweet Siena, we are so sorry about your nose scratch! We are sure your fur will grow back beautifully.

#1 has a giant pharmacy for us all, including both a non-alcohol antiseptic spray and a thyme-based homeopathic spray that she says smells wonderful. Also some antiseptic healing cream.

Awww! Your precious little nosie! You are still as cute as ever. Maggie May had a place like that on her nose and the fur grew back. You can't even tell.

Awww, poor Siena! Our Mom has a little bit of a kit with a styptic pencil (she once cut Samson's nail too short) and some antibiotic cream, but she thinks it is probably a good idea to add some more items.

We hope your nosie feels better soon and all the fur grows back!

We have a mini pharmacy, but mom thinks it's a good idea to make sure she has everything she needs and put it all in one place...she's a bit scattered!

Soft gentle kisses for your owie nose!

Siena - hope your nose is less sore now. We're sure the fur will grow back as good as new. The only thing in our medicine chest is a kiss to make it better!!

Oh dear now, I don't have a first aid kit. But whatever happened to your nose? Was it from the tree climb?
It's nice to be out in the sun!

Siena, I'm so sorry about your nosie! I'm glad you had fun on Easter. Mama was luaghing at the piture of Chilli's face stalking you. So cute! We had a nice Easter too! The ham was flowing! It must be so fun to climb a tree with your sis.

We do not have a first aid kit. For shame on Mama!

I am so sorry your hurt your pretty nose. It should be ok soon. We have all sorts of things in our cabinet. If we don't have what we need, I go off to the local pet store for more items.

Poor little Siena! I hope your little nosie gets all better soon! We have a cabinet all filled with medicines, mostly because of Harley.

Oh I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your furs will grow back soon enough. A little love and some good rub-in medicine will go a long way. BTW, mom wants to ask you a question so I guess that means she is asking you to email her. But anyways, trust me, with all the times I've gotten whacked and hurt, I don't even have any furs missing and my mean mommie is rough on me!

Aw Siena, we hope your nose gets better! And we can't believe how high up you get in that tree! What we would give to be able to climb a tree!!

As far as our "first aid kit" our mom keeps some antiseptic ointment on hand just in case one of us gets an ouchie!

We love the photos today, but we are really sorry about your nose, Siena! We hope it's better soon.

We have lots and lots of first aid stuff - including more types of bandages than we can count - because our dad is always hurting himself at work (not seriously - just enough to be annoying!) Some of it is OK for cats too.

What did you do to your nose? I'm sure your lovely fur will reappear!
We keep Animax ointment here -- our vet swears by its magical properties and claims that it might even cure cancer! We also have Hexadene antiseptic wash. We are a regular pharmacy round here!

You had a great easter (except for the nosy episode). We had to wait a bit longer. Our good weather started just today. But we did have fun and even Photoguy was reading outside with us the entire afternoon.

I'm sure your nose will heal just purrfectly Siena! Nothing can ever diminish your beauty! Those are fantastic shots of you girls having fun zooming around in the garden. Accidents will happen. At least it didn't turn out to be serious.

Looks like you had a great Easter. We hope your nose soon heals. Mum uses homeopathic cream for any cuts or scratches we get.

We are sorry your nose got hutred! But it looks like you had a great adventure outside!

Poor Siena!! That looks similar to my nose! The vet had given the PM some antibiotic liquid that she had to put on it for four days twice a day. She said it would have probably have been fine without it but since we had made the trip she said she might as well.

I am sure you'll be back to your furry-nosed self soon!

Your poor nosie! We're sending purrs to you to grow furs on your nosie.

We don't have a first aid kit for us. . . just one for Momma. But now she'll have to get us one because you never know......

I'll give your nose a kiss to make it all better!

Oh my poor LSIF! Hope the nosie heal up soon and the hurty is not too bad.

We have some antiseptic wash from the vet and cotton bud/balls in the kitty first aid box. We need this because I am a semi outdoor kitty and accidents can happen.

Your poor nosie! At least you didn't have to have stitches like I did. I hope it heals purrfectly.

Poor Siena, that must have hurt :-(

And you both looked like you were having such a good time in your garden - we especially enjoyed the photo of the two of you in the tree.

oh - you poor baby. Hope it didn't hurt. You know, that would be one tradition you probably could break.
