Story Sunday

On Saturday our humans went to see the works of a friend who had a little exhibition in a city about 1,5 h away - if you went by motorway. They chose to take the route next to the river Rhine though. It's a lovely route in between slopes where grape-wines grow. The villages alongside the Rhine are sometimes merely a line or two of houses and then the slopes with the grape-vines already begin. The valley there is good for growing grape-wines because it gets very hot and they have a special soil that our diccionary translates with "schist". We hope that's no fowl language! All along are little castles and fortresses dating back to medieval times. They stopped in one of the bigger villages, bought some apples and a special bacon and walked up to a castle which is nowadays private property of a Japanese owner. The castle is called "Burg Katz" which means "Castle Cat"! And now comes a funny detail: The castle on the opposite riverbank is called "Burg Maus" and that means "Castle Mouse"! Tee hee!

We're glad that mom knew which castle was the right one to visit! The second picture shows the view from top of the slope on the castle and the Rhine. The boat you see is the ferry, but the Rhine is one of the busiest waterways worlwide with many, many cargo ships. We only got on of these schist stones for the garden, complete with a bit of moss and everything. Yuk! Mom claims it'll get nice and hot when the sun shines on it and we'll love it. We'll see...

But only to leave us again today! This time they went to a Japanese style garden to see the Cherry trees blossom. How boring can it get? Mom knew she couldn't come home this time without a proper present and she fortunately found some cool feathers. They are green!
We taught her a lesson though by being extra crazy today. For starters we used the litter box for #2 together at the same time. We never went in there together!Then Siena started her escaping through the open window project again. Still jumping up there and trying even after it was closed! Chilli behaved crazy and hyperactive as usual and mom managed to step on her little paw. That made her scream out so loud that Siena's tail went poof and she was looking for the enemy for some time. Later, one of us managed to open the door to the terrace and suddenly we were both outside, without our collars. Hi,hi,hi,hi... Mom is knackered, we can tell you.

Crazy Mom - Crazy Cat

No comment was available from Chilli, the very determined little Crazy Cat shown in this video.

Or is it the human who's crazy?
Judging from the laughter it is hard to tell...hihihi.

The background to this video is that Chilli was asking - in her own polite ways - to be let out of the room where she and Siena (& we) were staying during the Christmas days. Seeing her act like she acted was too much to hold the camera still. ; )
