Farewell Friday

We are saddend beyond words that our lovely friend Sen-Chan has unexpectedly went to the bridge today. No need telling you about this gorgeous mancat, as most of you knew and loved him. He was so special. He, together with Tom and #1, were among the first blogs we visited and the very first to comment on our. Our endless purrs go out to his brofur Tom and his sisfur Tama-Chan. Our sincerest condolences to #1.
We love you Sen-Chan! We'll see each other again at the bridge.

Happy New Year 2009!

We wish every-single-one of you a furry Happy New Year!
We hope everyone will be healthy and happy in 2009 & never short of tummy rubs* and nip toys. All the best to you and your family!

*Siena is receiving the special tummy rub from the other type of human. It's quite a sensual thing, she loves his technique to bits. As soon as he gets closer she drops on her side and shows off her tummy... Our mom isn't that good at it as she doesn't understand that Siena actually likes to have her fur messed up and brushed that way. Well, she's got a whole new year ahead to learn his technique... ; )

In between years

We hope efurryone had a lovely Christmas!
We are doing some major napping these days. Our mom is very lazy with blogging and seems to get rounder every day. What's worst: she will leave us for three days. There are some people here that will look after us, but they are kind of strange. They didn't even allow us in all those other rooms upstairs. We are locked away in the basement! No ornament whapping! But don't worry, the room is bigger than our whole appartement back in Cologne and a superb chasing area. (It even smells nice and homely because mom and the other type of human sleep here and we brought loads of beds and blankies from home with us. We even brought our small kitchen cat-tree!) Needless to say, Chilli managed to sneak through the door and run upstairs four times already - so we are planning to take over when mom and the other type of human are gone and the inexpert people are defenseless, har, har, har. They are really funny, non-animal people but with good intentions. Today mom was talking to the women (who is the mom of the other type of human) here in our room. The other women was nervously rustling with a paper bag in her hands, so Chilli had to investigate and jumped up on her, clinging to her at waistheight. She did that TWO times. Mom said that was an inapropiate behaviour and that we shouldn't scare the women away. After all she's supposed to look after us all those three days!!! So please wish us good luck, okay?
We wish efurryone a Happy New Year! See you in 2009!

Santa, please don't look

The strain of being good during the last days was too much for me. I did something naughty. You see, I like to bite and attack things, mostly stuff made out out floofy (hint, hint) fabric. I had some hard goes at Siena's frog these days:

...the deadly neck bite...... different version of the deadly neck bite with bunny kick...
...sharp kitty teeth completely sunken in...The bitey!
Ever noticed this sort of riffled gum in our mouths? It has "teeth" on it!
Now, here's what I did:
I chewed my way through this little paper bag and even nibbled on the bread that's inside. I don't know what I was thinking. Bread!
I so hope that Santa wasn't looking. Maybe he will judge this as the minor offense it is - mom warned me about the wrapped presents though. Phew, that last day will be so hard! Purrs, Chilli

More training

Hi efurryone! I am "harness-training" for Christmas.
Catching the unruly leash (it really "weighed me down" the first time - I couldn't walk! Needless to say it didn't help that mom was laughing at me! Not at all!)...
Rolling around, trying to get the harness off somehow...
Getting mad in the basket where the dirty washing is stored...
More of the same...
Looking pleased...
I think I am doing furry good!
Purrs, Chilli

P.S.: Mom said that we could start the Gardening Cat training soon if I adapt to the harness. As you know, Siena is the Gardening Cat around here but she never had to go on a harness. Mom said it's because I don't listen to her and won't come when she calls me... Hrmpf!

Being good for Santa

We, like our furriends in the CB, are being good for Santa. Don't we look angelic when we sleep? We will spent Christmas with the family of the other type of human in a different city. Our mom is a bit nervous how we will like the change and how we will behave but is sure that the whole family will be furry impressed by our combined cuteness! Just as long as we leave alone the tree!!! We say a little ornament whapping can do no harm! Can it? ; )
