We can't have newspaper around at all because the woman who rescued Samson and his littermates never had cats and taught them to pee on newspaper, so every time he sees one, he pees on it!

i once tried to explain to the boyz that the newspaper contained things going outside the windows they look out of. i don't think they understood or cared about the concept though.
Your mom certainly doesn't need to read the newspaper, Chilli--it's mostly bad news anyway! Much better for her to look at your gorgeous self!

I like to help my mum to read the paper like that too Chilli.

We don't get a newspaper, but we do that with all of Mommy's magazines and papers on her desk. It's important that stuff doesn't go flying all over so we hold it down for her. It's a Cat thing.
We help The Big Thing read the noospaper that way too. There is so much bad noos an we help protect him from that by layin on those...
