Furriends,
we've got the first birdie-update already. It's happening: the first little one has hatched.
And it thinks our mom is its mom, hahahahaha! We are having dreadful weather so lets all purr it stays warm and safe.
Have a good weekend!
Siena and Chilli
P.S.: We think we have to correct something as our mom's English has led some of you to believe she did a doctoral thesis. It was "only" a diploma thesis, but we're none the less proud of her. So just you know, no cat has to call her doctor. ; )

omg cute! GOODLUCK, chicks!!!! stay safe and don't think everything's your mom!
Very cool!!
Yummy baby birds. LOL. (Or so the boys would say.)
I appreciate the comment re: Annie's ashes being home. It was a bad winter...I'm still not over it, I think mostly because there wasn't anything in her blood work, other tests that showed a problem and in my mind she should not have died. So I can only think it was my fault for doing something, not doing something...Certainly I regret listening to the vet and having her undergo particular treatment. (She stayed for 5 days at the clinic in January and I believe she picked up a virus of some sort that her weakened system couldn't fight off. She came home wheezier than normal and three weeks later I had to let her go, she had fluid in her lungs.)
I just really feel like I failed her, failed as a cat mom, so that's particularly hard to deal with.
Anyway, sorry....You can tell I've got a long way to go before I make peace with this.
