Fair play

Furriends, it's getting rather tough out there in the Kitty Fight Club! I'm waaaaay behind and the contest is getting to me by now. My opponent Baby Patches seems to be too cute and is leading with 40 votes after I lead the first days. Win some lose some, eh? There should be a "floofy tail contest" - I would certainly stand very good chances in that one! It's a good thing that I'm one of Abby and Stygia's three prized Cat Yoga Gurus and know all about the impawtance of equanimity. Winning is not everything, but a calm, confident heart and peace of mind. Let me tell you!
Meanwhile, I have been tackling the Evil Twig AND Mousie at the same time! That's an advanced move!

And I have also developed a very cool new move that can be used with the Big Fuss and the Propeller Tail. I call it the "invisible mode". Please note how I gradually turn to invisible mode while playing with Mousie.
Is that still fair play to Mousie?

Two breakthroughs

As you all might have supposed, the Evil Twig Training for Chilli has been going on during the last weeks. I can proudly report today, that little Chilli has made much progress. Maybe her most impawtant long-term achievement is, that she lost respect for the twig. I could see her poking her tongue out at him two times.
That is very brave, Chilli!
She also followed some of my advice from the Evil Twig Tutorial. For instance, she made a point in DISTRACTING the twig. Distraction is very impawtant! Here she is making believe she's walking away... Please note how I watch her from a little distance during the training without putting pressure on her. You should never pressure a kitten... Well done, Chilli!
She threw in her whole weight to tackle the twig.
And then came the break-through: She actually nibbled a bit off! That is a leap towards really mastering him!!!
I was so proud of her.
But then, while going through the pictures with her to improve some of her technique futher, I found out something. Can you see something strange in the two following pictures?
No? Maybe in this one?
Yes, indeed! She has grown herself TWO fangs on each upper side!!! I'm not sure if that should lead to DISQUALIFICATION... what do you think?

Evil Twig Tutorial

Since efurryone was interested in the move I did on the evil twig the other day, I thought I 'd show you a bit of the technique. It is ever so easy: It consists mostly in DISTRACTING the twig by making a big fuss without actually touching it. At first! Then you activate Twig Control and, well, the rest is history. Please note the big fuss in this video:

Naturally, you have to adapt to efurry twig situation. They come in all sizes and any time!
This one came up high.
Here I am mastering the evil twig on ground level.

If you are interested in studying my approach further, you can follow the linkies in this post to see more twig moves... Good luck out there!

P.S.: I am teaching Chilli my technique but so far she hasn't got the essence of it. Sigh!
Where's the fuss? She's TOUCHING it straight away!

Again, the same mistake: No fuss but actual touching and nomming. It looks cute but you won't master the evil twig this way. Pleeez, don't try this at home!

Tuesday Twig Report

Some might have wondered if I could save Chilli the other day from the evil birch twig. Well, don't you worry...
