With a little help from my furriends

Dear furriends! Thank you so much for your suppawt in the Kitty Fight Club.
The gap of 40 votes has shrunk considerably and even although I still might not win, I am happy that so many of my old and new furriends extended their paw of friendship and voted for me. I am not on twitter or facebook or anything, so all my votes come entirely from you - my furriends in the CB! I'm sporting a proudly raised floofy tail these days!

In other news I can report that the little hermit crab is back! She has changed her portable house, but that's what hermit crabs do after all. She seems to be very hungry this time.
The cutest little hermit crab of all!
And we are nursing mom back to strength tonight. She has been having toothache since the weekend and went to the dentist today. They found caries under a corona and it might have already affected the root of the tooth. Mom is in absolute horror, she hates the dentist and will have to go back several times now. A root canal treatment is a horrible thing - expensive and painful and we really hope the tooth will come around and not need this procedure.

Fair play

Furriends, it's getting rather tough out there in the Kitty Fight Club! I'm waaaaay behind and the contest is getting to me by now. My opponent Baby Patches seems to be too cute and is leading with 40 votes after I lead the first days. Win some lose some, eh? There should be a "floofy tail contest" - I would certainly stand very good chances in that one! It's a good thing that I'm one of Abby and Stygia's three prized Cat Yoga Gurus and know all about the impawtance of equanimity. Winning is not everything, but a calm, confident heart and peace of mind. Let me tell you!
Meanwhile, I have been tackling the Evil Twig AND Mousie at the same time! That's an advanced move!

And I have also developed a very cool new move that can be used with the Big Fuss and the Propeller Tail. I call it the "invisible mode". Please note how I gradually turn to invisible mode while playing with Mousie.
Is that still fair play to Mousie?

It's all in us

Hi furriends, Chilli here.
The humans went to the zoo today. Mom kept annoying the other type of human with screaming "Oh, look! Look! Just like Siena/Chilli/the girls!" at every step. That got me thinking that we must be the perfect animals.
We combine the playfulness of these otter......with the nosiness of the suricate,
... being a Drama Queen comes as naturally to us as to this asiatic black bear...
... and we love to climb trees like the cute red panda.
Just like the lion we know how to take it easy - especially after a good meal.
We are incredibly cute like these ducklings when we are kitten. And I may remind efurryone that I'm the only kitten left in this house!
And if Siena doesn't stop shedding she will look like this bactrian camel soon. Hahahaha! One thing for sure though: We smell a lot better than any of these animals!
You can still vote for Siena in the Tussle of the Tail Plumes! And did you see that our newly turned ladycat had her first kiss today? Woohooo!
Purrs to efurryone,
Chilli

Finally Friday

Breaking news: I escaped through the window today! Finally!
After all it seems to be true - come age, come wisdom. Hehehehe. I jumped up there, pushed the mosquito net aside and flatted the plants that are sitting on the window sill by landing on them. Then I walked to the terrace door and straight inside again. Ha! It is raining since yesterday night and I'm not feeling my weatherproofest today. I am very happy about having achieved this long term goal!Visualizing your goal with closed eyes really does help! Chilli is visualizing too.
I wonder what?
Tomorrow the voting in the Quarter Finals for Misha's Kitty Fight Club starts. I'm up against Baby Patches and I surely will need all your suppawt! Check out the contest and vote!
Wishing efurryone a pawsome Friday out there.

Still cute?

Technically I'm still a kitten - I'm not even a year old. But recently I lost a bit of the cute kitten-y factor and I'm more... well, what? Mom say I look "impressive". Must be all the floof. However, if you could see me, you would all agree that I'm also a funny cat. Here I'm doing the big fuss in our little garden. Mom laughs when I gallop all around, up the trees and down again. Remember the nickname Zirkuspferdchen = circus pony? Here I'm complaining in front of a closed window. Long term furriends might remember that it's one of my missions in life to escape through windows. Must have forgotten that I'm already outside.
Mom is an only-child so she has a question for you: Did the "naughty" one of your siblings end up with most of the attention? Because mom just realised that that's what has happened here. With Chilli being a bit of a "character" and her alpha attitude, I have moved into the background for a while. Recently I have thawed up again and mom is happy - she told me that she was worried about me.
Now, look who's still momma's little baby!
Don't worry mom, I know how to have my revenge ON Chilli. Har. Har. Har.
Without me things would be mad around here - I'm the impawtant balancing factor.
All wand toys are Chilli's domain and I procure not to be in her way. Still she manages to crash down on me! Hrmpf! But lately we mastered to actually play together a few times. This shoelace made a cool Toy for Two.I'm a very weatherproof cat and don't mind rain. That's what my toesies look like after such an outing. Cute, wouldn't you say?So, here's what I want to know: Am I still cute?

This post is of course an insinuating campain for tomorrow's voting in Misha's Kitty Fight Club. Sunday is my turn, so vote for me if you think I'm cuter than my opponent in tomorrow's picture. Cheers!

Kitty Fight Club - Chilli's entry

Of course I want to play in the Kitty Fight Club too! You might have seen this picture already as we posted it in honour of Siena's BSIF Fin and her Mommy. It's the youngest picture of me that we have - I'm about 8-10 weeks old. I'm so happy that mom took me and not the floofy one at the left! She, by the way, stayed with the nice foster lady together with another foster. When I was younger I had a bad cold and my ears were all yucky with ear mites. That's the reason than there are no cute pictures of my first days here in my forever home, 'cos I had to take medicine that made my ears slimy.
Here you can see my yucky ears. They are all black inside. Ewwww!
I'm having my first dinner. This was on the 14.11.08, my Gotcha Day. Look how wide I can open my mouth!I really loved to play with this tube. Thinking of it, I should try if I still fit in there!
This picture is kind of cute too...
I was a great study pal right from the start!
I settled in quite quick and soon discovered snuggling with our mom. Ain't I all smiles here? And my ears got okay too!
Given that it's Tuesday some tummy and toesies...

Mom is on a "all these posts that I never made" trip and sneaked in a lot of older pictures, hehehe. I don't mind, the world shall see my cuteness.
Good luck to efurryone for the Kitty Fight Club!
