Granted, I too had some very silly tries at escaping - but Chilli, there's really NO way you're going to get outside like this.

The other day mom noticed Siena rolling around like a mad cat on the path in our garden.

Really, she was rubbing her face on the pavement...... getting her fur all messed up and had that crazy look on her face. Finally, mom wanted to see what Siena was so keen on - and the only thing she found was a cigarette stump!
Urgh. Do you think someone put valerian in it?

Silly on Sunday

Exhibit A

Chilli has a great interest in little paper bags from the baker. She has chewed herself through some of them and even nibbled the bread! This time her head got stuck and she was moving backwards towards the rim of the writing desk.

Look how much her silky and slender butt reaches over the table when she got it off. That was close!

Exhibit B

I have to admit that I did something silly too. I have climbed the curtain rail before, but looking back it could be that I was a bit more kitten-shaped then. This time, when I reached the far end I found that I couldn't turn around to get back. I even slipped and clung - not very elegantly - to the curtain. Mom rushed into the kitchen and came back with one of the bar stools to rescue me. When I jumped on there mom too realised that I wasn't that little kitten anymore and the stool got swaying. That frightened me so I jumped back on the curtain rail. For the second try mom assumed a more stable pawsition and I got down. She's my purrsonal elevator!

On a totally different note we wanted to tell efurryone that Tama-Chan and her four fabulous kittens are doing fine. She had to get them via an ouchy Caesarian and was so exhausted the first looooong couple of hours. She is nursing and loving them now like the best momma cat. Concats to Tama-Chan! Frisky Fall is not over

Today and yesterday I'm feeling very frisky again. Weather is fine, with lots of sunshine in my furs and insects to stalk. And the indoors isn't boring either. I'm having major fun!

Mom said I should get a job at a nightbar. She laughed while she said that, so I think it was a joke. Still don't get it, though...

Today we did some gardening. As usual, I helped a lot - without my mom appreciating it too much. There was a misunderstanding between us, as she was trying to get spring bulbs into the ground and I was digging them out again. She should have told me earlier! In the digging frenzy I was too occupied to listen, obviously.

I made sure that there aren't any evil critters hiding in the leafheap:

I really gave it a thorough check!

Sadly, I have to report, that there weren't any.

I finished my gardening with a nice sunbath. Our little garden doesn't get much sun and it only comes into the appartement for 1,5 hours a day (it's a dark cave my mom says). So I really have to soak some sun in while I can. Aaaah....
