Furriends...

... it's my third Gotcha Day!
I had an excellent day so far. We were let outside today and I snoopervised to my Gardening Cat heart's delight.
I even ventured into the other world behind our garden wall...
From where I returned with a lot of feathers in my mouth. Hehehehe, I'm not telling how I got them!
But the very best part was that I proofed that I'm a excellent tree-descender and loving sisfur today. I'm feeling so grown-up! Most of you are long-term furriends, so you might remember when Siena rescued me back in 2009. And that I needed quite a few tree-climbing lessons in the beginning. Well, today I rescued her! Siena was stuck in the property right on the left to us.
She was meowing miserably* for my help and couldn't find a way to get back to our garden.
Please note the perfect descent from that tree!
Oh, and try to ignore the high-pitched babytalk from mom. Sheesh.
I came to her rescue indicating where she could climb up and she did. I'm feeling very proud today. Then I came back inside to find that some of you already concatulated.
I am currently settled down with my sisfur for a nice cuddle. Bliss!
What an excellent Gotcha Day - thank you for making it extra special!

*It is true furriends, I was stuck and my little sisfur rescued me.
Or was I?
Hehehehehe...

Thursday in the garden

These are older pictures from the first days of November 2010. We love the Fall colours now that the snow has gone and everything outside is soggy and mudcoloured.
Zoo......mies!Checking out the pile of leaves.
We were VERY thorough!
Siena had her full Winter floofage already.
We hope we can soon have fun in the garden again!

Thursday in the garden - Christmas edition

Furriends,
we had a white Christmas too. And we got to go outside! Here are some impressions.
Pawprints in the snow.
Check out the little icicles.
Siena Snowphlough, eh Snowfox, doing my Norwegian Forest Cat thing.
Don't you think I can pull off the icy 'tock look really good?
The snowfall couldn't distract Chilli from the birdies.Chilli was admiring my treeclimbing skills. And had a good go at it too!
Those treeclimbing lessons really paid off.
Mom had to pick her off the wall in the end though, because Chilli was getting cold and started screaming as if she couldn't get down on her own. It was time to come inside.
I took the normal...
... route instead.
We both had a good snuggle session with mom to heat up again.
Good times!
Many purrs,
Siena Snowfox

Thursday in the garden

Furriends,
temperatures have dropped these last days and it's raining and raining. We've been locked inside because of work being done in our cellar and the workers keeping the doors to our garden and street open. Hrmpf! We had some nice outings since the humans are back from their vacation - although not as many as we'd like.
We gave our premises a thorough check. You never know if there isn't a cheeky introoder lurking around.Plus, it's good plain old fun to be snooping around.
That cool leaf pile is back! Siena just loves to jump into it, it's much fun.
Chillimus the brave tackled the Evil Birch Twig. We have a feeling that he will leave us alone for a while.Siena is floofing up for Winter. Check out that mighty coat she's growing! And Chilli, who's second Gotcha Day is approaching fast, is "getting prettier by the minute" to quote mom here.
All is well that ends well. Nip times are good times!
Signing off with many purrs,
Siena Snowfox &

A Gardening Cat's Gold

Dear furriends,
today is a special day for us because we helped mom to harvest our nip seeds. The seed we harvested are from the original plants Chilli raised as her masterpiece for her Gardening Cat Examination last year. She did such a good job on the plants and they came back nicely this year.Harvesting the seed is a delicate job and we watched mom closely while she did it. Chilli takes special pride in these plants so she watched even closer. We got a nice little pile of seeds! Then mom went outside for a second to throw away the debris and when she came back in an 'accident' had happened:Chillimus was ON the table rolling around IN the nip seeds! That little sisfur!

Thursday in the garden

Dear furriends,
Mom is terribly busy lately and that always means she's bad blogging help. We received wonderful awardies in the past weeks and she just keeps telling us she's too busy. Can you believe it? Hrmpf. Maybe it's time for The Bitey...
We've been veeeeery busy too:
Cleaning the paved paths with a special technique.
Cutting the grass.
(Biggify for full dirt-in-fur-after-path-cleaning effect)General patrolling.
Quality control of...
...dusty garden areas. Our verdict: very dusty = very good.Pouncing!
And last but not least: reclaiming the other world behind our wall from the introoder Dado. Check out how well little Chilli is helping me.
We hope life treats you good!
Lots of nosekissies,
Siena & Chilli
