Thursday in the garden - Christmas edition

Furriends,
we had a white Christmas too. And we got to go outside! Here are some impressions.
Pawprints in the snow.
Check out the little icicles.
Siena Snowphlough, eh Snowfox, doing my Norwegian Forest Cat thing.
Don't you think I can pull off the icy 'tock look really good?
The snowfall couldn't distract Chilli from the birdies.Chilli was admiring my treeclimbing skills. And had a good go at it too!
Those treeclimbing lessons really paid off.
Mom had to pick her off the wall in the end though, because Chilli was getting cold and started screaming as if she couldn't get down on her own. It was time to come inside.
I took the normal...
... route instead.
We both had a good snuggle session with mom to heat up again.
Good times!
Many purrs,

More snow pictures

Since the other day we didn't get more of the white stuff and I'm a bit sad about that. So I thought I'd share more pictures of me in the snow with you. Mom says it can go away so fast now!

In this short video you can see and hear how eager I was to be outside.
Exploring.
More exploring.
Pausing for a portrait.
The next is going to be the cutest pawprint in snow ever!
Sniff, sniff, sniff.Looking for our neighbours Frida and Lilly.
Going back inside. Check out my floofy 'tocks!

Visitors

When mom said we had to prepare for Daisy's arrival both Chilli and me got really excited. Would Daisy the Curly Cat really come to visit us? And would she bring Harley? Just imagine our disappointment when we found out, that "Daisy" was the name for the cold front that is bringing us lots of snow. Hrmpf!
I made the best of it. I like snow! Not as much as Daisy of course.
I like sniffing it.I like just watching it fall.I like zooming around in it!See my tracks crossing some neighbour's track?
It's such a sublime moment when you're the first to leave your paw print in the pristine white cover.
That's my element! My furs keep me dry and warm.
Chilli stayed inside. Although she wanted to go out too mom didn't let her because it would have been too cold for her. Do you see her in the window? Of course she was not pleased.
I hope you're all safe and warm! Or having fun in the snow, just as you like it.

The best presents

We learned a tough lesson this Christmas: The best presents are the ones you'd want to keep yourself. Some of you asked where I was when Siena had her little Snowfox in the Snow adventure the other day.
Well, here's proof I ventured outside too. Mom couldn't believe her eyes when I rolled around in the snow. See the snow on my back? Then, after about four whole minutes of being outside, I started to shake out every paw and to hunker down right on the spot.
I was very reliefed when mom called me inside, BECAUSE...... I'd much rather sit on this luxurious sheep skin they got for the other type of human's sister. I can't pawsibly describe the comfyness, you'd have to experience it for yourself. Siena loved it too, especially because she had a sheep skin in the kitty bed she was born in. Unfortunately, we won't get one for ourself because I have a reputation of ripping out pieces of fur from those skins. Mom liked to show this picture every time I asked her to keep it for us.Mom, really, I've changed! I was still a kitten back then! Hehehehehe. Maybe she'll get out the little piece again to give it a try.
Stay warm and comfy in the New Year efurryone.

Snowy Siena

Woohoo, we are getting more and more snow! As we said, this is quite unusual for where we live and we are enjoying it for now. Mom says having to leave the house is a whole different story. Anyway, I got to go outside for a bit. I so enjoyed myself! Please have a look at my little 'Siena Snowfox in the Snow' adventure.
First impression of the white stuff.
My pawprints on the terrace. It kept snowing while I was checking out the patio.
I'm sure mom enjoyed being out there with me.
Zooming around in the snow is extra fun!
I hope my BSIFs (Big Sisters in Floof) Momo, Fin and Miss Kitty are proud of me. That white stuff is deep!
Ahhh, that reminds me of our trip to Norway last year. I dream that we can go again one day and the gorgeous Norwegian Forest Cat Mancats Theodor and Tankene Ice Mist could come along. That would be mayor fun!

Of course you need a weatherproof coat and snowshoes to enjoy this kind of weather. I'll admit that I didn't stay outside for very long, but I think I made my point.
Stay warm efurryone!

Finally Friday with Funny Feet

Hi efurryone! It's me, Chilli.
Since I arrived to my furrever home on a Friday 8 weeks ago, I made myself part of efurrything that's going on in this household. I'm sort of taking the lead here and won't tolerate being left out! But today Siena's SIFs arrived and they are out in the garden frolicing in the snow. And I AM NOT ALLOWED OUTSIDE!
Clockwise from the left: Momo, the resident silver-fox, Fin and Miss Kitty.
I am feeling so left-out right now. Mom claims that I need to grow floofy fur and snowshoed paws to be outside, as the other day I started shivering right after a few minutes (Yes, I got out in the snow wearing my red harness the other day. Extensive coverage will follow soon!).
For now, while the Sisters in Floof are playing outside, reminiscencing of their trip to Norway last year... I'm taking advantage of the situation in cuddling with mom. Hear me purr with contentment:
Maybe staying inside is not that bad after all...
We even made silly pictures we called "Funny Feet"!Hahahaha! Ahhh, some mom-and-me time...
I hope you all get some cuddling done today! Happy Friday from Chilli
