Visitors
When mom said we had to prepare for Daisy's arrival both Chilli and me got really excited. Would Daisy the Curly Cat really come to visit us? And would she bring Harley? Just imagine our disappointment when we found out, that "Daisy" was the name for the cold front that is bringing us lots of snow. Hrmpf!
I made the best of it. I like snow! Not as much as Daisy of course.

Muspuss names
Over the last days we found out that mom must have missed us more during her little vacation around New Year than she is willing to admit.
You see, with them was Emma, the sweet Beagle woofie of the other couple. It seems that mom went crazy over her, seeing her little Chillimus Prettypuss in some of her moves.
Hence she called Emma "Emmamus" for the whole stay. Silly mom!
One night while they were watching a movie Emmamus even borrowed under the blanket with mom and the other type of human. Her heart almost melted!

Her ears are a bit wet because she chose to roll around in a dungheap that day and had to have a shower. Mom? What exactly did you remind of me?

Those ears must be very silky!
Emma is very good at agility. Here you see her doing a zig-zag parcour on the beach.
She's very good at placing her cute snout on the human's leg while begging too!
Those eyes must get her everything. I think I'd like to play with these walnuts.
The center of attention. I'd like that too!Purrs, Chillimus Prettypuss

The best presents
We learned a tough lesson this Christmas: The best presents are the ones you'd want to keep yourself. Some of you asked where I was when Siena had her little Snowfox in the Snow adventure the other day.
Well, here's proof I ventured outside too. Mom couldn't believe her eyes when I rolled around in the snow. See the snow on my back? Then, after about four whole minutes of being outside, I started to shake out every paw and to hunker down right on the spot.
I was very reliefed when mom called me inside, BECAUSE...
... I'd much rather sit on this luxurious sheep skin they got for the other type of human's sister.
I can't pawsibly describe the comfyness, you'd have to experience it for yourself.
Siena loved it too, especially because she had a sheep skin in the kitty bed she was born in.
Unfortunately, we won't get one for ourself because I have a reputation of ripping out pieces of fur from those skins. Mom liked to show this picture every time I asked her to keep it for us.
Mom, really, I've changed! I was still a kitten back then! Hehehehehe. Maybe she'll get out the little piece again to give it a try.Little Chillimus

We're back home!
Dear furriends,
finally we can wish you a happy New Decade! Doesn't time fly by?
While we were away I went into lovebug mode and took every chance to sit on mom. She's very warm and comfy - just as moms should be.
I just love to make biscuits on her!
Here I'm giving the felted foxtail we got from our furriends at Sumac Stories a good chomping and bunny kicking.
Nice Curly Q on Chilli.
Chilli the cowboy catgirl. She still had the sniffles in this pic.
That's the North Sea behind that frosted field.
Mom loved the light.
The coastal line.

The coastal line.Chilli didn't get the calming pill on our trip home because it didn't really help the first time. We got a nice comment on anxiety medication and will look into that for next year. It's very good news that Chilli got over the sniffles though. Mom gave her a homoepathic medicine which helped me once too.

No place like home.
